Report from the Expert Group on Youth Work Quality <\/span>Systems in the EU Member States<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What is youth work and what is not? What is quality<\/span> and how could it be assessed?<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This report seeks to contribute to this development by demonstrating how the use of a<\/span> systematic and holistic quality approach, covering the whole youth work context from<\/span> young<\/span> people<\/span> to<\/span> the<\/span> political<\/span> level,<\/span> will<\/span> help<\/span> to<\/span> enhance<\/span> quality<\/span> and<\/span> thus<\/span> the<\/span> recognition of youth work as a crucial actor in the lives of young people. We strongly<\/span> believe that the use of a well-structured quality approach would allow and facilitate<\/span> the concerted efforts of all stakeholders, making it possible to work together in the<\/span> same direction. It would also enable and support a more accurate distribution and<\/span> monitoring<\/span> of<\/span> public<\/span> funding<\/span> at<\/span> all <\/span>levels,<\/span> not<\/span> only<\/span> focusing<\/span> on<\/span> quantities<\/span> but <\/span>integrating also qualitative aspects into the decision making process.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
